Welcome To Making Space!

With support from the Knight Foundation, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation has partnered with REC Philly to launch Making Space: Reimagining Recreation, an initiative that reimagines  Philly recreational centers as community hubs where innovation & creativity happen. Local entrepreneurs will run their businesses for FREE in rec centers while giving back to the next generation of creators and makers. 

This social enterprise program will support small businesses and social change in communities. Selected winning entrepreneurs will mentor, inspire, & teach young people to make their dreams a reality. We are MAKING SPACE for big ideas!
